My godfather would be able to help you on that as he owns one of the biggest diescast collection in France, but as far as I’m concerned, no idea. Could be worth it though, some of those sell for A LOT of money.

Oh holy crap. I'm not looking to buy, just curious as I've never paid attention to diecast prices

No. $4100 CAD or USD. NO!

LALD guys may be different. I’m already battling rising 3 wheeler prices. Nope!

Only thing I can tell you is that SOME very, VERY rare diecast do sell at these prices. I have no idea if those are worth it or not :)

Am I colorblind? On the listing for the impala he lists the body color as orange,I am pretty sure those taxi’s are yellow.

With old Matchox models, it’s all about the variations. But these?

The second one is overpriced! I got that one and I got it for less than 1$ on a yard sale ... not as minty and no box though ....

Still, there's no way just being mint and having a box makes it worth $4099 more....unless you got a really good deal haha

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I have both of those, albeit it without the box. I have no idea about the green wheels variation, but the field car is a very common model. If it were a genuine variation, I can’t see more than $75.

As for the Impala, it’s also fairly common. AND I’m 90% sure they never offered it with grey wheels. It certainly wouldn’t have had that box if it had grey wheels. $40 mint in box at the most, with that hybrid wheelswap, maybe $25?

The Impala with grey wheels is a rarity, and should be worth a couple grand or more if it is real. There’s the caveat, IF. These can be faked, I wouldn’t touch it without expert personal inspection. I think the grey wheel Impala only exists in fine tread (these are knobby wheels), which makes me suspicious.

The green hub Field Car is another rarity, and would be worth several hundred. IF it is real, also needs inspection. I would want to inspect the axle ends and baseplates probably with a magnifying glass.

The common varieties of these (Impala with black wheels, Field Car with red hubs) can be found mint in box for no more than $50.

Your prices are pretty close for the common variants. Green hub field car and grey wheel Impala are legit rarities. But they can be faked, so one would need to be careful.

Ah, thanks. I wasn’t sure about the field car, but I was wrong about the Impala. Would it have an older box, or did they just use the grey wheels?

It’s very possible they are worth that much. Depending on how many were made with those certain pieces, like wheels, color, etc. I have a hot wheels car worth $1500 and it’s not even on the blister card. These having their mint boxes definitely increases the price a lot. These are like the original super treasure hunts, just more rare I’m guessing (I don’t know much about collecting the original matchbox, but I’d assume they’d be similar to the original hot wheels).

All 20c Impalas came in an E box. The grey wheels were an early run, almost certainly made in 1965, around the time those wheels were phased out.

Something that makes me suspicious is that the wheels pictured appear to be knobby tread - I am only aware of the grey wheel Impala existing with fine tread wheels.

The only ones I’ve seen get that type of money are prototypes. Most of the rare transitionals don’t even fetch that much.

Wow that's quite the difference in price. Huh, I didn't know differences that small could make them worth that much. Cool!

For these models, the details make the difference. There are several instances where a color difference can make a $35 model be worth $3500 or in at least one case, maybe more like 10K.
